Psychedelic Alpha logo & Identity

Psychedelic Alpha is a hub for all things psychedelic research. This brand is not so much about tripping, and more about the therapeutic use of psychedelics. They were in need of a refreshed brand identity and was open to suggestions. The old logo was an alpha sign and was a bit too obvious.

For the new logo I wanted it to feel psychedelic without using any of the common elements associated with it, like mushrooms or crazy visuals. So I used basic shapes and created a “PA” for Psychedelic Alpha, matched it with a clean san-serif typeface that is straight forward and professional.
